Joan Bonfill is the overseer of Can Lleó and the most senior viticulturist on the property. Joan represents the multi-generational family tradition and transmits experience, serenity, and wisdom. His company is invaluable to us.

Dani Figueras

A winegrower who works the property’s vineyards following the family tradition. The harvest of the garnacha vineyard was launched in La Casilla d’en Pep, a unique environment surrounded by old pines and century old olive trees. He is a restless explorer of inspiring projects. A lover of hard work in the vineyard, he stands for organic and sustainable agriculture.

A winegrower who grew up in a house from Can Lleó and works the vineyards following a family tradition. The Martra and La Parellada de la Bassa vineyards are two parcels of old and goblet vines, emblematic within the Can Lleó wine project. Tireless, supportive, and funny, even in difficult moments.

A winegrower who grew up in the Can Lleó neighbourhood and who is closely rooted in the property.

He works in the old vineyards of macabeo from Les Pedres, among others. The fine bubbles of the ancestral macabeo are full of distinguished romanticism.

The family formed by Jaume Carbó, Mª Teresa Santacana and her son Manel has been cultivating carefully the vineyards of Can Lleó for decades. We selected the Vinya del Meix, from old macabeo vines planted in goblets, to make a monovarietal wine from a single vineyard.

Alberto and Judith, the current owners, share their enthusiasm to reignite a family project respecting the tradition with an innovative vision that incorporates the essence of El Penedés. They want each one of the wines from Can Lleó de Vilanoveta to convey the character of the locality and the people involved.
